Pricing
All quotes provided by Bittersweet include GST and are based on current pricing. Quotes are estimates and may be subject to change based on supplier costs or special requests.
A minimum spend applies to all bookings and will vary depending on the package selected this will be outlined in your proposal.
Beverage menu
Bittersweet is a licensed alcohol-only caterer. Our curated beverage menus are seasonal and subject to availability. If any selected items become unavailable, we will contact you with suitable replacements.
Service time frame
Event service timing must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to your event. If service extends beyond the agreed time on the day, a surcharge will be added to your final invoice. Standard service hours are between 9am – 1am; extended hours are available upon request and subject to availability.
Deposit
A 10% deposit of the total quoted amount is required within 7 days of confirming your booking. This secures your event date.
Cancellation
Cancellations made 7 days or more before the event will receive a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of the event will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Guest numbers
Final guest numbers must be confirmed 2 days prior to the event. This confirmed number will be used for final billing, regardless of any no-shows on the day. Please reach out to us if there are any last-minute changes.
Travel fees
Events held outside of the CBD will incur a travel fee, calculated based on distance, staffing, and logistics. This will be clearly outlined in your quote.
Licensing and conduct
Bittersweet is fully licensed to serve alcohol. All service will be conducted in accordance with RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) standards. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who is intoxicated or behaving in a disruptive or unsafe manner.
Damages
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to hired equipment, glassware, or the venue space during the event. A damage fee may be charged based on repair or replacement costs.
